Colombia to host Milagro Week in New York to attract foreign investment

The Colombian government has announced the first ‘Milagro Week,’ scheduled to take place on November 16 in New York. Led by Vice President José Manuel Restrepo and Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism Mauricio Gómez Amín, the initiative aims to attract foreign investment to the country.

Under the ‘Misión Crecer’ strategy, the government will present a portfolio of 176 projects, 37 of which are designated as high priority. These projects span several key sectors, including infrastructure, energy transition, renewable energy, critical minerals, tourism, and technology.

The event is supported by the ‘Banco de Proyectos Patria Milagro,’ a platform designed to connect these prioritized initiatives with international funds and investors to accelerate regional development and job creation. This mission follows previous outreach efforts involving approximately 300 global investors and business representatives.
