Colombiamoda 2026 showcases Peruvian model Natalie Vértiz and Colombian brand Vélez with J Balvin

The Colombiamoda fashion fair took place in Medellín, Colombia, as part of the Inexmoda calendar. On July 30, 2026, the Peruvian model and entrepreneur Natalie Vértiz opened and closed the runway show for the Peruvian label Ayni, presenting its "Malva de luz" collection. Vértiz shared her excitement on social media, highlighting the pride of representing Peru at the event.

During the same opening weekend, Colombian leather brand Vélez marked its 40th anniversary with a collection titled "Artisan Gang in The City," created in collaboration with singer‑songwriter J Balvin. The show emphasized the "Latin Craft" concept, blending traditional Colombian crafts such as leatherwork, embroidery, and crochet with urban, contemporary design. The collection featured reinterpretations of ponchos, equestrian boots, and other heritage elements, aiming to project a new vision of Latin American luxury.
