Colombian Army strengthens security on Santa Marta–La Guajira route

The Colombian National Army has increased security and prevention efforts along the road connecting Santa Marta to La Guajira. Soldiers from the Integral Action and Development Support Battalion No. 1 conducted outreach at the Neguanje toll booth to provide safety information to travelers and drivers.

During these activities, personnel distributed informative materials highlighting emergency contact lines, including the 107 Antiterrorism line and the 147 Gaula Military line. The initiative aims to strengthen citizen participation, promote security, and reassure the public regarding the presence of security forces in the region.
