Colombian authorities investigate alleged youth disappearances in Antioquia

Colombian authorities are investigating reports circulating on social media regarding the alleged disappearance of young people in the Oriente Antioqueño region. The National Police stated they are conducting verifications to address these claims.

The GAULA of Antioquia reported that, as of now, no formal kidnapping complaints have been filed in the subregion. Authorities noted there is no confirmed information suggesting these social media reports are linked to a specific criminal activity or represent a pattern of related cases.

Police have urged the community to remain calm, avoid spreading unverified information, and report any suspicious activity through official channels. They also recommended that families maintain constant communication and inform relatives of travel plans.
