Colombian Cities Host Health and Green Business Fairs to Boost Wellness and Sustainable Entrepreneurship
The municipal government of Pasto organized the first "Feria A Tu Salud" from July 21 to 24, offering health promotion services such as vaccinations, preventive care talks and self‑care activities. The fair also showcased commercial stalls run by beneficiaries of social programmes like Renta Joven, Renta Ciudadana and Adulto Mayor, giving them a platform to sell products and expand their micro‑enterprises.
In the Cauca department, a Green Business Fair was held at the Terraplaza shopping centre as part of the Miss Earth Colombia 2026 program. The event gathered producers and entrepreneurs presenting sustainable goods—including organic coffee, natural foods and eco‑friendly crafts—to highlight responsible consumption and the economic potential of environmental stewardship. Participants such as coffee producer Martha Pérez used the venue to reach new customers and promote biodiversity‑friendly practices.
