Colombian clubs América de Cali, Cúcuta Deportivo add new forwards

América de Cali is close to finalising the signing of Venezuelan winger Edson Tortolero, 28, from Carabobo FC. The club expects to complete the contract in the coming hours, adding speed and goal threats on the flanks for the second half of the 2026 Liga BetPlay season.

Cúcuta Deportivo has announced the acquisition of experienced striker Gustavo Torres, 30, who has played for several Colombian sides and abroad, including Atlético Nacional and San Lorenzo. The move aims to strengthen the team’s attacking options for the 2026‑II campaign of the Colombian top division.
