Atlético Nacional confirmed the termination of coach Diego Arias’s contract after a disappointing first half of the season, citing poor performances in the Copa Sudamericana and domestic league. The club thanked Arias for his dedication and stated it is working on appointing a new technical staff for the second semester.

Millonarios also announced that veteran goalkeeper Diego Novoa will leave the team at the end of his contract. The club and player reached a mutual agreement, and Novoa will seek a new club as a free agent. Millonarios is already targeting replacements, with names such as Tomás Marchiori and Guillermo Viscarra mentioned as potential signings.

Both clubs are undergoing restructuring ahead of the second half of 2026, aiming to improve results and compete for titles.
