Colombian cyclist Egan Bernal confirmed for 2026 Tour de France

Egan Bernal, the 2019 Tour de France champion from Colombia, has been confirmed by Ineos Grenadiers (Netcompany Ineos) to ride in the 2026 edition of the race. He will be one of eight riders on the team, sharing leadership with Dutch rider Thymen Arensman after Spanish cyclist Carlos Rodríguez was omitted from the lineup.

Bernal said the Tour holds special meaning for him, describing it as a race he is "grateful and happy" to compete in again and expressing that he feels motivated and ready to give his all for the team. Ineos Grenadiers intend to run an offensive strategy throughout the three‑week event, aiming to have Bernal contend for top positions against the international peloton.
