Daniela Pachón departs Noticias Caracol after 11 years

Journalist Daniela Pachón has departed Noticias Caracol after nearly 11 years with the news organization. Pachón, originally from Santander, joined the network in February 2016, starting as a reporter before transitioning into a presenter role.

During an emotional live farewell on Friday, September 25, Pachón expressed gratitude to her colleagues and the viewing public, noting that her career at the network represented the fulfillment of a childhood dream. Colleagues Nicolás Rojas and Pilar Schmitt praised her professional evolution and her human qualities during the broadcast.

While she has concluded her tenure with the television news program, Pachón announced that she will continue her career in journalism, specifically moving into radio work, though she has not yet confirmed her new employer.
