Colombian President Petro asks Trump to stay out of election

Meanwhile, former President Álvaro Uribe re‑ignited political debate by criticizing Petro’s health‑care reforms, declaring, “Hay que recuperar la salud que Petro destruyó.” Uribe proposed a mixed public‑private health model with tax incentives for certified providers, arguing it would ensure stability and attract investment. His remarks amplified the partisan clash over the health system as the election approaches.
