Colombian regional governors announce cabinet reshuffles

Regional governments in Colombia are undergoing administrative changes. In Boyacá, Governor Carlos Amaya announced a restructuring of his cabinet involving the departure of six officials. The outgoing members include the secretaries of Agriculture, Tourism, Social Integration, ICT, and Health, as well as the manager of Ideboy. Amaya stated these changes aim to strengthen the administration during the final 14 months of his term to ensure the completion of development plans and infrastructure projects.

In Cauca, Sor Inés Larrahondo Carabalí has stepped down from her position as Secretary of Education and Culture after more than two years in the role. Governor Jorge Octavio Guzmán Gutiérrez has temporarily assigned Wanner Darío Montilla Suárez to lead the department while a permanent replacement is determined. The departure occurs amid political speculation regarding tensions between the current governor and former governor Elías Larrahondo Carabalí, though no official reason for the exit has been provided.
