Colombian singer Ela Taubert rises to Latin Grammy success

Colombian singer-songwriter Ela Taubert has transitioned from an emerging artist in Bogotá to a Latin Grammy winner for Best New Artist. Her breakout single, “¿Cómo Pasó?”, reached number 3 on Spotify’s global charts in 2024 and achieved platinum certification in both the United States and Mexico.

Following the success of her debut album, Preguntas a las 11:11, which earned RIAA Gold certification and was recognized by Rolling Stone as one of the best albums of 2025, Taubert has shifted her musical direction. In 2026, she moved away from her initial formula toward a more spontaneous sound, releasing tracks such as “La Gente Cambia” and “No Tengo Remedio.”

Taubert was also honored at the Premios Nuestra Tierra in Bogotá, where she received the award for Best Female Pop Artist.
