Colombia's 2026 presidential inauguration broadcast handled by Estudios RCN
Colombia's presidential inauguration on 7 August 2026 will be covered live by Canal Capital, which will air a special program beginning at 2:30 p.m. to follow the ceremony from multiple locations in Bogotá.
The incoming government announced that the production of the inauguration broadcast will be undertaken by the private company Estudios RCN, marking the first occasion that the state broadcaster Rtvc (now Inravisión) is excluded from the event. The government said the feed will be "clean," without logos, and made available to national, international, and online platforms.
