Colombia's SENA launches over 9,300 free training slots in Bogotá

The National Learning Service (SENA) in Colombia announced the opening of 9,381 free seats for in‑person programs in the Bogotá district. The offer covers 317 training courses, including 4,781 places in 164 technical programs, 3,950 spots in 131 technologist tracks, as well as slots for operator and auxiliary studies. Classes are set to begin on 21 July at 15 SENA training centers across the capital, focusing on sectors such as software development, accounting, nursing, industrial electricity and 3D animation.

SENA also outlines benefits for its alumni. Graduates can continue studying through the External Training Chain with partner universities, use SENA’s extensive library collections, access the Public Employment Agency for formal job placement, apply for entrepreneurship support via the Fondo Emprender, and participate in the SENNOVA research and innovation system covering fields like telecommunications, biotechnology and virtual technologies.
