Colombo hosts Sri Lanka’s largest food industry exhibition

The Pro Food – Pro Pack – Ag Biz and Knowledge Hub 2026 exhibition has opened in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Now in its 23rd year, the event features approximately 450 stalls and includes international exhibitors from China, India, and Germany.

Organized by the Sri Lanka Food Processors’ Association and the Ministry of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, the exhibition facilitates both business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) connections. The event serves packaging specialists, exporters, retailers, manufacturers, and investors.

A dedicated SME Pavilion has been established to allow small and medium-scale food processors to showcase innovations and explore market opportunities. Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Sunil Handunnetti stated that the exhibition is vital for strengthening Sri Lanka as a hub for food processing, packaging, and agricultural innovation.
