Colombo man arrested after 11 dogs rescued from unsanitary conditions

A 47-year-old man was arrested in Colombo, in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba, following an inspection that revealed 11 dogs living in unsanitary conditions. The animals were found amidst trash and feces, lacking adequate access to food and water.

The operation was conducted by the Civil Police of Paraná in conjunction with the Colombo Municipal Secretariat of the Environment. Authorities noted that the property owner had previously been notified to regularize the situation but failed to comply. The dogs were rescued and are receiving veterinary care, while the case has been referred to the Judiciary and the Public Ministry.
