Colombo Municipal Guard receives new weaponry

The Colombo Municipal Guard has received its first batch of new weaponry as part of a R$ 440,000 investment to modernize the corporation. The acquisition includes Glock 9mm pistols, ammunition, and necessary maintenance equipment.

Previously, a portion of the force's weaponry was sourced through donations. The new equipment is being accompanied by technical training and capacity building to ensure agents are prepared to use the tools according to safety and technical procedures. The initiative was overseen by Mayor Helder Lazarotto and Commander Thiago Skau.
