Colonia El Simbolar begins cemetery renovation project

The Municipal Commission of Colonia El Simbolar in Santiago del Estero has launched an integral renovation project for the local cemetery. The works aim to address long-standing community requests and improve the site's security and organization.

The project includes installing a perimeter fence using wire mesh and quebracho colorado posts, walling off the front, and constructing two new entrances with metal gates. Additionally, internal improvements are being carried out to optimize the cemetery's functioning and conservation.

Local leader Valle Pérez stated that the intervention is a significant improvement for a space that is part of the community's history and identity. The goal is to provide families with a safe, orderly, and dignified environment to honor their loved ones.
