Colonial Van Lines Wins Forbes Award for Best Digital Planning

Forbes ranked Colonial Van Lines among the top long‑distance moving companies in the United States, giving it a 4.9‑star rating out of five and naming it the Best for Digital Planning and Logistics. The company’s technology suite, which includes virtual home walkthroughs and a mobile inventory app, allows customers to see exactly what will be moved before a truck arrives. Spokesperson John Pellitteri said the tools “take the guesswork out of the process.” Colonial Van Lines operates a fleet of more than 90 trucks, works with agents in 48 states, and handles packing, loading, storage and vehicle shipping through a single coordinated system. The firm moves roughly 12,000 long‑distance shipments each year, serving renters to homeowners across the contiguous United States. Earlier recognitions include listings by U.S. News & World Report and an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.
