Colopl announces new quiz action RPG ‘Wiz Generation’

Colopl has announced its new quiz action RPG, ‘Wiz Generation’, which is scheduled for release on iOS and Android this winter. The game features a ‘real-time quiz action battle’ system where players’ knowledge directly impacts gameplay. By tapping to attack, players fill a skill gauge; once full, a quiz is triggered. Answering questions quickly and accurately allows players to execute powerful special moves.

The game includes over 100,000 questions across eight genres, such as trivia, sports, and entertainment. Question formats range from standard multiple-choice and true/false to more complex tasks like reordering or fill-in-the-blanks.

Competitive elements include the ‘Mato-hai’ ranking battles, where players compete against rivals nationwide based on speed and accuracy. Additionally, the game will feature live-streamed quiz content designed to mimic the experience of participating in a television quiz show. Pre-registration for the title has officially begun.
