Color-Logic certifies ColorByte RIP and DEX Imaging studio

Color-Logic has announced two new certifications for its metallic color systems and print embellishments.

First, the ColorByte ImagePrint UV RIP has been certified for use with the Color-Logic metallic color system. The integration includes an intuitive interface and white ink linearization capabilities, which allow for precise control over how much metallic surface is revealed or suppressed during printing. This streamlined workflow is designed to simplify the production of metallic colors and decorative effects for print service providers.

Additionally, the DEX Imaging LLC demonstration studio in Greensboro, North Carolina, has received certification. During the testing process, DEX utilized a Ricoh Pro 7500 digital press to produce samples on metallic stock. The results successfully demonstrated the range of Color-Logic effects and 21 of its 924 metallic colors, allowing customers to view high-quality applications of the technology in person.
