Colorado Buffaloes face injury and quarterback changes against Baylor

During the Colorado Buffaloes' game against the Baylor Bears, wide receiver DeAndre Moore sustained a head injury following a hard hit from Baylor linebacker Travion Barnes. Moore, a senior and the team's leading receiver entering the game, exited the contest in the second quarter and did not return. Coach Deion Sanders stated that Moore appeared to be doing well after the incident.

On the offensive side, quarterback Julian Lewis was benched during the first half due to a struggling performance, recording 75 passing yards and three sacks on 11-of-16 completions. He was replaced by Isaac Wilson. Sanders indicated that the decision to use Wilson was a situational choice rather than a long-term shift in the depth chart, suggesting Lewis may return to the starting role in the future.
