Colorado Buffaloes face Kansas State Wildcats in must-win Big 12 matchup

The Colorado Buffaloes host the Kansas State Wildcats at Folsom Field in a critical Big 12 contest. Colorado enters the game attempting to snap a five-game losing streak, while Kansas State seeks to recover from a recent loss to Arizona State.

Both teams face significant challenges at the quarterback position. Kansas State is expected to start sophomore Dillon Duff, who will make his first career appearance after starters Avery Johnson and Jacob Knuth were ruled out due to injuries. Colorado will rely on Isaac Wilson, who has struggled with turnovers under pressure, including three turnovers in last week’s loss to Oklahoma State.

The matchup carries high stakes for Colorado head coach Deion Sanders, who faces increasing scrutiny following the team’s poor performance this season. The Buffaloes currently hold a 2-5 record, while the Wildcats stand at 4-3.
