Colorado Buffaloes prepare for 2026 season with roster overhaul
The Colorado Buffaloes are preparing for their 2026 season following a 3-9 record in 2025. Head coach Deion Sanders has expressed satisfaction with a revamped coaching staff and a roster that features over 20 new starters. The team is implementing a ‘Go-Go’ offense under offensive coordinator Brennan Marion and a defensive strategy focused on aggression under coordinator Chris Marve.
Assistant linebackers coach Andre Hart noted that the roster includes a mix of Power 4 players and high-production athletes from the FCS level. Hart emphasized that the new additions bring a strong desire to prove themselves. The team’s progress will face an early test in Week 1 against Georgia Tech.
In addition to roster changes, Hart highlighted Deion Sanders’ personal growth and unmatched commitment to the university. Sanders has also focused on his personal health journey during the offseason as he prepares to lead the program.
