Colorado College women's soccer secures two draws

In recent women's soccer matchups, Colorado College secured two draws against regional opponents.

Against the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, the Blugolds earned a 2-2 tie. Tobias Volkmann opened the scoring for Eau Claire in the first half, but Colorado College responded with goals from Connor Salita and Jack Hilliard to take a 2-1 lead. Owen Backus leveled the match for the Blugolds with a goal assisted by Noah Malcook in the 84th minute.

In a separate fixture, Colorado State played to a 1-1 draw against Colorado College. Stina Mathews scored for the Rams in the 14th minute, but Finley Schoenbeck equalized for Colorado College in the 55th minute. The match remained tied through a physical second half, with both teams attempting late attacks.
