Colorado distilleries expand with new lounges and botanical spirits

Distilleries in the Colorado region are expanding their offerings through specialized lounge experiences and new botanical spirits.

In Park City, Alpine Distilling has established the Social Aid and Pleasure Club on Main Street. The venue serves as a craft cocktail bar and event space, featuring a communal area known as the ‘dopamine zone’ where guests can engage in activities such as board games and communal knitting. The bar focuses on spirits made from the company’s gin and whiskey.

In Golden, Hoot+Howl Spirits has released Saint Alpin Liqueur, an alpine-influenced herbal spirit. Inspired by traditional French monastery liqueurs like Chartreuse, the product utilizes 18 botanical ingredients, including lemon balm, grand wormwood, and arnica flowers. The release follows a trend of local producers filling market gaps created by production caps on traditional European spirits.
