Colorado men arrested after gun threats in Colorado Springs and Steamboat Springs
Isaiah Thompson, a 29‑year‑old, was arrested in Colorado Springs after police say he chased a resident with a handgun at an apartment complex on Aug. 3. He allegedly threatened the victim, retrieved a stolen gun from a nearby vehicle, and was later taken into custody on felony menacing and possession of a weapon by a previous offender charges. A search warrant uncovered the stolen firearm, which had been reported missing from Denver.
Patrick Bushley, 27, of Steamboat Springs was charged with menacing with a weapon, prohibited use of a weapon, and improper storage after allegedly pulling a handgun on two people during a road‑rage incident near Columbine Drive on July 31. According to an affidavit, Bushley brandished the gun, threatened to kill the male victim, and then fled the scene. He faces a Class 5 felony and related misdemeanor charges.
