Colorado Pizza Festival to debut in Longmont

Colorado Pizza Festival Tony Gemignani Longmont food insecurity Pizza With Purpose

The inaugural Colorado Pizza Festival will take place on Saturday, Sept. 5, in downtown Longmont at 4th and Kimbark. The event features more than 20 pizzerias from across the Front Range and is headlined by 13-time World Pizza Champion Tony Gemignani.

In addition to pizza competitions and tastings, the festival includes live music from acts such as Motet Funk is Dead, Other Brothers, and David Lawrence and the Spoonful. The event is organized by Pizza With Purpose, a nonprofit initiative aimed at uniting local pizzerias to combat food insecurity.

Proceeds from the festival will benefit several organizations, including Slice Out Hunger, Longmont Food Rescue, Community Food Share, and Colorado Friendship. Tickets are priced at $15, with children under 12 admitted for free.
