Colorado Republicans hold Liberty Rally amid midterm campaigning

Republican candidates in Colorado recently gathered for a ‘Liberty Rally’ in Monte Vista to campaign for various statewide and legislative positions. Gubernatorial candidate Victor Marx addressed a crowd of approximately 150 people, describing himself as a ‘disruptor’ and emphasizing themes of affordability and the need for voter turnout to flip the state.

Other speakers included candidates for the State Board of Education, the State Treasurer's office, and the U.S. Senate. Secretary of State candidate James Wiley raised concerns regarding artificial intelligence and election security, specifically mentioning the potential for AI-driven threats to the electoral process.

While local efforts continue, national Republican attention appears focused on congressional districts. The Republican House Freedom PAC has allocated $300,000 to support Lauren Boebert in Colorado’s 4th Congressional District, signaling strategic financial moves ahead of the midterm elections.
