Colorado revives e-bike rebate program with $3 million

Colorado is reviving its e-bike rebate program, providing $3 million in funding through the Community Access Enterprise. Starting August 24, income-qualified residents can register for rebates worth at least $1,000 toward qualifying e-bike purchases.

The Colorado Energy Office aims to support more than 2,800 residents over the next year. This initiative follows a previous program that helped nearly 8,000 residents save over $9.75 million. According to state data, the initial program helped reduce annual emissions by an amount equivalent to driving 8.85 million miles in a conventional gasoline-powered car.

To qualify, residents must have a household income at or below 80 percent of the area median income for their specific county.
