Colorado Rockies conclude 100-loss season with individual highlights

The Colorado Rockies are concluding their 2026 season after recording their fourth consecutive 100-loss campaign, a feat matched only by the 1962-65 New York Mets. Despite the poor win-loss record and a difficult late-season collapse, the organization has identified several individual performance successes.

Jake McCarthy is currently pursuing a rare statistical milestone, needing two more triples in the final two games to achieve a 15-15-15-15 season (doubles, triples, home runs, and stolen bases). Other notable individual performances include catcher Hunter Goodman, who is approaching 40 home runs, and rookie TJ Rumfield, who has provided stability at first base.

As the team enters its final weekend against the Chicago White Sox, the focus shifts toward the offseason. Management is expected to address rotation issues and evaluate the roster to prepare for the 2027 season.
