Jacob Misiorowski's strikeout streak fuels Brewers 11-2 win over Rockies

On July 26, 2026 at American Family Field, Milwaukee right‑hander Jacob Misiorowski set a franchise record by striking out the first seven Colorado Rockies batters and 12 of the first 13 hitters he faced. He threw 66 of his 83 pitches at 100 mph or higher, breaking his own record for the most 100‑mph pitches in a game. Misiorowski allowed only one hit and one run over five innings, and the Brewers defeated the Rockies 11‑2. The performance came a day after Milwaukee’s 21‑year‑old rookies Cooper Pratt and Luis Lara each drove in three runs in an 8‑5 win, a franchise record for combined RBIs by players 21 or younger, while Robert Gasser contributed six solid innings in that game. The two victories completed a series sweep of Colorado, strengthening Milwaukee’s standing in the NL Central.
