Colorado State defeats Wyoming 35-13 in Border War

Colorado State University defeated the University of Wyoming 35-13 in the annual Border War rivalry game held at Canvas Stadium on September 5. The victory allows the Rams to retain the Bronze Boot trophy, reversing last year's 28-0 shutout win by Wyoming.

Wyoming's performance was hampered by four turnovers, including three interceptions and one fumble, which directly contributed to 14 Colorado State points. Wyoming quarterback Tyler Hughes, making his first start, recorded 130 passing yards and 52 rushing yards, including a 9-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

Colorado State quarterback Hauss Hejny led the Rams' offense with 214 passing yards and five touchdowns. This matchup marked the first Border War following Colorado State's transition to the Pac-12 conference.
