Colorful introduces iGame X870E series motherboards for AMD AM5

Colorful Technology has announced new high-end motherboards based on the AMD X870E chipset for the AM5 platform.

The iGame X870E Vulcan W OC is an all-white flagship model designed for high-end gaming and overclocking. It features an 18+2+2-phase power delivery system with 110A DrMOS stages and a 10-layer PCB. To optimize memory speeds, the board utilizes a 2-DIMM layout capable of supporting DDR5-8800 MT/s and beyond. It includes five M.2 slots (two PCIe 5.0 and three PCIe 4.0) and an onboard smart LCD screen for hardware monitoring. In India, the suggested retail price is Rs 66,999 plus GST.

Additionally, the iGame X870E ULTRA-S is designed for enthusiasts and workstations, supporting up to 192 GB of DDR5 memory via four DIMM slots. This model also supports DDR5-12800-MRDIMM technology. For expanded connectivity, the ULTRA-S offers 16 MCIO-8i interfaces with PCIe Gen6 or CXL Gen3 support, alongside PCIe 5.0 for graphics cards and NVMe SSDs.
