Colorful launches iGame X870E ULTRA-S V14 motherboard for AMD

Colorful has launched the iGame X870E ULTRA-S V14 DDR5 motherboard, designed for high-end AMD AM5 systems. Listed in China for approximately CNY 1,899 (roughly $284), the board targets gamers and creators using flagship processors such as the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D.

The motherboard features a 16+2+1-phase 80A DrMOS power design and supports up to four 48GB DDR5 modules with speeds reaching 6600MHz. For storage, it provides five M. 2 slots, three of which utilize PCIe 5.0 x4 channels. Connectivity includes dual USB4 40Gbps ports.

Key hardware features include a tool-free M. 2 quick-release latch, a graphics-card quick-release mechanism, and an 80-style debug display. For users with Ryzen X3D processors, the board includes an ‘X3D AI High Frame Mode’ that automatically adjusts PBO, thermal limits, and voltage to optimize gaming performance.
