COLORS to premiere age-gap romance drama ‘Shayad Yahi Hai Pyaar’

COLORS is set to premiere a new finite romance drama, ‘Shayad Yahi Hai Pyaar’, on September 28. Produced by Pocket Aces, the series is an official adaptation of the acclaimed Korean series ‘Something In The Rain’.

The story follows Preeti Arora, a 35-year-old professional in Delhi, as she navigates workplace challenges and societal pressure regarding her unmarried status. After being betrayed by her long-term partner, Gaurav Gulati, Preeti forms an unexpected connection with Aarav Ahuja, a 25-year-old game developer and childhood admirer.

The narrative explores the complexities of their ten-year age gap and examines how societal expectations and parental pressures influence perceptions of compatibility and romantic fulfillment. The show will air Monday to Friday at 9:30 PM on COLORS and JioHotstar. The series stars Aditi Dev Sharma, Daksh Puri, and Kunal Karan Kapoor.
