Colruyt to open new Professionals wholesale store in Deurne

Colruyt Group is set to open a new Colruyt Professionals location in Deurne on September 16. The facility will occupy the former Makro site, which has remained largely vacant since Makro departed in 2022.

This new branch is specifically designed for professional clients, such as hospitality businesses, clubs, and night shop operators, rather than general consumers. Access is restricted to customers with a VAT number. The store layout features wide aisles to accommodate large flat carts for bulk purchasing.

According to regional sales director Geert Gillis, the goal is to redirect professional customers to this specialized location to reduce congestion in standard Colruyt stores aimed at private consumers.
