Colt Silver secures environmental permit for Puno exploration

Colt Silver Corp. has received an Environmental Technical File (FTA) from Peru’s Ministry of Energy and Mines (MINEM) to begin exploration at the Galena Silver Copper project in Puno. The 8,200-hectare project has not been previously drilled.

The permit allows for the construction of up to 20 drilling platforms with no limit on the number of wells per platform, enabling staggered drilling campaigns without requiring new authorizations. The company plans to launch an inaugural 2,500-meter drilling campaign in October 2026, targeting Carbonate Replacement Deposits (CRD) in the historical Santa Rosa, Gaspar, and Chaparro zones.
