Bwog, the undergraduate news organization at Columbia University and Barnard College, has launched Freshletter, a weekly newsletter that runs during the final four weeks of summer. The publication compiles practical advice and campus information for incoming students, covering topics such as dorm essentials, roommate dynamics, class registration, navigating New York City, and social life. Freshletter aims to help newcomers adjust to college life by delivering a curated “survival guide” directly to their inboxes.

The newsletter will be promoted ahead of New Student Orientation (NSOP), with Bwog also posting related articles on its website to address common freshman concerns and provide tips on everything from dining options to local transportation.
