Columbus Blue Jackets face potential coaching and roster changes

The Columbus Blue Jackets are experiencing organizational turbulence following a difficult start to the season. After a 3-4-0 record and a recent slump, insiders suggest the team may face significant changes, including a potential coaching change and the departure of defenseman Zach Werenski.

Werenski previously used a no-movement clause to veto a trade involving Thomas Harley, though rumors regarding his desire to re-sign persist. Additionally, young forward Adam Fantilli recently commented on the trade of Kirill Marchenko to the Toronto Maple Leafs, stating that having a player who did not want to be in Columbus would have been ‘a nightmare’ and expressing relief that the trade was completed.

These developments follow a busy offseason for the franchise, which included the signing of Adam Fantilli and the Marchenko trade.
