Com2uS reveals gameplay for GACHIAKUTA: BREAKOUT

Com2uS has revealed new gameplay footage and an official title for its upcoming survival action RPG, ‘GACHIAKUTA: BREAKOUT’. Previously known as ‘GACHIAKUTA: The Game’, the project is based on the popular manga and anime series of the same name.

The gameplay showcase, presented during the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2026, highlights fast-paced melee combat and character abilities. Featured characters include the protagonist Rudo Surebrec, Enjin, and Riyo Reaper, with combat sequences demonstrating encounters between characters such as Jabber Wonger and Zanka Nijiku. The game utilizes a cartoon-style rendering to maintain the visual identity of the original work.

Players will navigate contaminated zones known as ‘the Pit’, fighting enemies like Trash Beasts and outlaws to collect items and experience for character progression. Additional features include real-time co-op play, graffiti collection, and the ability to decorate and expand the Cleaners’ headquarters.

‘GACHIAKUTA: BREAKOUT’ is scheduled for a 2027 release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with support for Xbox Play Anywhere.
