COMA Festival announces 28th edition in Madrid

The 28th edition of the Madrid International Contemporary Music Festival (COMA) will take place from September 22 to November 22, 2026. Organized by the Asociación Madrileña de Compositores (AMCC), the festival features twenty concerts and two educational meetings across various venues in Madrid, with free admission available until capacity is reached.

This year's edition expands its number of venues, including the Auditorio Nacional, Teatros del Canal, Museo de América, and the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando, among others. The program includes performances by Spanish Brass, the Atlántida Chamber Orchestra, the Orquestra de Cambra Catalana, and the Orquesta Sinfónica de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. The festival will also feature several dozen absolute premieres.
