Comanches group to host cultural walk in Ramos Arizpe

The Comanches, Mujeres en Movimiento group will host the Second Comanche Walk on Saturday, October 3, in Ramos Arizpe. The event is designed to combine physical activity with the exploration of local history and traditions.

The guided walk will head toward the historic Santa María Church, a site of significant cultural importance to the municipality. Organizers aim to foster a sense of identity and belonging among participants by connecting them to the community's roots through nature, culture, and social interaction.

The itinerary begins at 7:00 AM with a reception, followed by physical activation at 7:30 AM and the official start of the walk at 8:00 AM. Participants are expected to arrive at the church by 10:00 AM for a ceremony involving medals, ribbons, and messages from local authorities. The morning will conclude with a blessing and a communal meal.
