Comcast and Telos Alliance announce new AI tools for broadcasters

Comcast Technology Solutions (CTS) and Telos Alliance have announced new AI-driven tools and hardware updates for the broadcasting and media industry, set to be showcased at the 2026 IBC Show in Amsterdam.

Comcast Technology Solutions is introducing a suite of AI-powered workflow applications designed for content owners and broadcasters. These tools aim to provide integrated solutions for content production and management. Key features include video verticalization, which uses smart cropping to automatically convert landscape video into portrait formats for social media, and automated localization of regional languages through AI-generated voices and automated dubbing. These applications are intended to integrate with the CTS product portfolio, including Comcast Media360 and Comcast Sports360.

Telos Alliance will present several updates, including the Jünger Audio flexAI CastCompanion. This tool utilizes the Jünger Audio Intelligent Companion (JAIC) to autonomously manage live voice sources by optimizing parameters such as de-noising, voice enhancement, and loudness management. Additionally, the company is highlighting new Infinity MK2 hardware panels for the Telos Infinity IP intercom range and the Infinity VCP Virtual Commentator Panel, which integrates with Elgato Stream Deck+ to provide physical controls for browser-based commentary environments.
