David Figueroa, a former retail sales consultant, filed a lawsuit in Connecticut state court alleging that a Comcast Xfinity store in Plainville tied the lowest‑ranking sales consultant to a chair and smashed a cream pie in the employee's face as punishment for missing sales goals. The complaint says store manager Sully Peterson directed the pie‑in‑face ritual, recorded the incidents, and required other staff to film them. Figueroa resigned after less than a month, claiming the practices created a hostile work environment and caused physical injury and humiliation.
