Comedian Abijit Ganguly moves from Mumbai to Bengaluru

Stand-up comedian Abijit Ganguly has relocated to Bengaluru after living in Mumbai for approximately nine years. Ganguly shared the decision on social media, citing the challenges of living in Mumbai, which he described as feeling like life in ‘hard mode.’

He identified continuous urban construction, noise pollution, and a lack of space as primary reasons for the move. Ganguly noted that the constant state of renovation in Mumbai makes daily life difficult. Additionally, following the birth of his child, he sought a location with more greenery, more space, and better educational environments.

While he had previously moved to Mumbai from Delhi, he opted for Bengaluru over returning to the Delhi NCR region due to concerns regarding air pollution. He expressed a desire for a better quality of life for his family, prioritizing space and nature over the urban density of Mumbai.
