Comedian Momoko discusses rapid return to work after childbirth

Comedian Momoko of the duo High Heel appeared on the television program ‘Tetsuko no Heya’ to discuss her personal life and career. She revealed that she returned to work just one week after giving birth to each of her three children.

Momoko explained that she felt uncertain about how long maternity leave should last and noted that many colleagues and staff members, including her manager and makeup artists, supported her by helping with childcare. She expressed deep gratitude to her husband, Masahito Kobayashi, for his support in raising their children.

Additionally, Momoko shared that she met her husband through a televised matchmaking program. While she maintains a bright and energetic public persona, she also touched upon her ongoing journey of living with illness.
