Comedian Paris Roupos reveals previous dismissal from bakery chain

Stand-up comedian Paris Roupos has revealed via social media that, in addition to his recent dismissal from the Pizza Fan chain, he was also fired from the bakery chain ‘Choriatiko’ in 2020. Roupos, who worked as a graphic designer for both companies, shared this information in a humorous post following recent news regarding Pizza Fan.

His dismissal from Pizza Fan occurred after a joke he made during a stand-up performance regarding the Greek flag sparked social media backlash. Although the performance was unrelated to his professional role at the company, users called for a boycott of the pizza chain, leading Pizza Fan to publicly distance itself from his comments and terminate his employment.
