Comedian TAIGA reveals Uber Eats earnings exceed talent agency fees
At a press conference celebrating the 10th anniversary of Uber Eats Japan, comedian TAIGA revealed that his earnings from food delivery have recently exceeded his performance fees from his talent agency, Sun Music.
TAIGA, who began delivering for the service in March 2020 due to the lack of work during the pandemic, reported completing over 20,000 deliveries. He noted that the job offers flexibility that suits the unstable nature of a comedian's schedule, often working five to six days a week and completing 20 to 40 deliveries per day.
Comedian Kazlaser, a junior at the same talent agency, attended the event and shared anecdotes about TAIGA, including a time when TAIGA delivered pasta to his home. While Kazlaser joked about TAIGA's dedication to delivery work, he expressed support for his colleague.
