Comedian Till Reiners discusses wealth and career

German comedian Till Reiners has spoken openly about his financial status and career in an interview with the Süddeutsche Zeitung. Rating his wealth as a seven on a scale of one to ten, Reiners stated, “I am left-wing, but I am not stupid,” regarding his approach to business and negotiations.

Reiners noted that while his appearances on the ZDF satire program “heute-show” serve as significant exposure, the financial compensation from television is negligible compared to his live performances. He currently performs approximately 60 shows per year, supplemented by about 20 television appearances, and is planning an arena tour for autumn 2027.

Reflecting on his career, the 41-year-old revealed he nearly quit comedy in 2018. He credited a conversation during a hike with a close friend for motivating him to invest more in his professional longevity and health.
